Photography: this word is derived from the Greek words for light and writing. Literally it means to tell a story with a picture; thus the saying "a picture is worth a thousand words." Taking photos is both a science and an art. When done correctly the results can convey an emotion, weave a tale, or capture a moment. Photos can freeze time and preserve memories. These are a sampling of my work. I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoyed taking them.
One of the highlights of the AWANA year is the Grand Prix. The kids (with help from their parents) make cars that are then raced, and judged on their looks. Everyone has a lot of fun.
